Sony Launch New 8K LED, 4K OLED and 4K LED Models

Sony has introduced the new Z8H 8K LED, A8H,X90H and X80H 4K LED televisions at CES 2020. They are next generation TVs that are equipped with vibrant and crystal clear displays. And if you thought that Samsung had this segment to itself, you’d be sadly mistaken.

The Z8H features a new frame tweeter that vibrates the frame of the TV to emit sound, this in turn, makes it seem as though that sound is emanating from the display itself. Speaking of the gorgeous display, it’s an OLED panel with X-Motion Clarity. This means that it can offer an impressive refresh rate while producing brighter and clearer images than previous gen TVs.

As impressive as this might seem, the Z8H’s party piece has to be its Backlit Remote. There’s no need to strain your eyes when searching for the right buttons. That’s because they are illuminated, which will make movie nights all the more enjoyable.

Sony didn’t stop there, though. The Z8H is a voice-activated TV that works with Google’s helpful Voice Assistant. Ask for the latest sports news, weather updates or movies that you fancy watching, then see them show up on the crystal clear screen.

The new lineup of TVs will come with Android™ 9 Pie, which offers users easy access to content, services and other devices. Unlike previous smart TVs, these new models are basically smartphones with gargantuan displays.

Thanks to Google Home compatibility, you can do things like cast and control videos on YouTube, as well as change channels or volume of the TV with the Google Home Assistant. There’s also support for Apple HomeKit and AirPlay for integration with Apple devices like iPads and iPhones.
