The E-Smart Safety App

E-SMART, a developer of fleet management software that improves vehicle safety, today announced a partnership with Platform Science, a leading connected vehicle platform. By partnering with Platform Science, the E-SMART mobile app will become part of the industry-leading partner marketplace.

This adds another choice for fleets to enhance productivity, compliance, and safety. Fleets will benefit from E-SMART’s innovations in intelligent speed adaptation, low bridge collision prevention, and remote vehicle immobilization. Platform Science solutions can be mixed and matched at any time, which offers fleets flexibility and freedom.

With the E-SMART app, users can actively manage their maximum speed, receive real-time safety alerts, and identify known hazards like low clearance bridges via GPS technology. A driver will receive an immediate notification on their in-cab mobile device if and when they approach an area of concern, and the vehicle will be limited to idle. Fleets that have implemented the E-SMART technology have reported a drastic drop in speed-related infringements and accidents, as well as significant savings on toll fines.
