The Samsung CES Innovation Awards 2022
November 18, 2021The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™ announced today that 43 of Samsung’s new products and services earned CES Innovation Awards, including four Best of Innovations awards. Each year, awards highlight outstanding designs and engineering across multiple categories of consumer technology products.
This year, CTA recognized Samsung Honoree’s in a range of categories, including Computer Peripherals & Accessories, Computer Hardware & Components, Digital Imaging/Photography, Embedded Technologies, Gaming, Headphones & Personal Audio, Health & Wellness, Home Appliances, Home AV Components & Accessories, Mobile Devices and Accessories, Smart Home, Software and Mobile Apps, Sustainability, Wearable Technologies and Video Displays.
CTA, the company that owns and organizes CES, the world’s largest and most influential technology event, sponsors the CES Innovation Awards. Las Vegas hosts CES 2022 next year after switching to a digital-only format in 2021. Jong-Hee Han, President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, will deliver the pre-show keynote address at 6:30 PM PST on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at the Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom in Las Vegas, NV.

Samsung ISOCELL HP1 ― ISOCELL HP1 is recognized as the industry’s first 200MP 0.64*m mobile image sensor in Embedded Technologies. The optical resolution of the HP1 is 1/1.22″ with 16,384 x 12,288 effective pixels. In low-light conditions, the 4×4 pixel binned sensor can combine 16 pixels into one large 2,56*m pixel, producing bright, high-resolution 12,5MP images. As well as crystal-clear video, the sensor also supports ultra-high-definition video up to 8K at 30 fps.
