Unboxing The Samsung Galaxy S21+: The First Impressions

January 27, 2021 Off By Rowena Cletus

Since the unpacked event, I’ve been waiting with baited breath for the Samsung Galaxy S21+. For me, the middle child of the bunch is usually the one that has the most to prove. However, seeing and experiencing it first-hand are two, very different things.

The fact that the phone packs so much, into a svelte and compact exterior made me awestruck. But what put it over the top for me, was the Phantom Violet colour scheme. For some reason, it just exudes excess, a required trait of flagships of its ilk.

As soon as I got my hands on the device, I was speechless. Since its launch I’ve been hearing rave reviews about its appearance. But none of that compares to seeing the device in person. It’s rare that I get this giddy for a phone, but its something about this new colour scheme that has me smitten.

The seamless gold border and curvy bezel around the cameras create a unique look for the smartphone. And unlike the S20+, this year’s device has a matte finish instead of a glossy one, which blends well with the gold border.

Take a look at our unboxing video and let us know what you think of the device. We are in the midst of wrapping up our tests with the phone, so stay tuned for the in depth impressions and review. We’ll let you know if the Samsung Galaxy S21+ is a hit or a miss!
