Vivo To Launch Y78 5G On August 1st, 2023
July 29, 2023Vivo is gearing up to launch the new Y78 5G smartphone on 1st August 2023. It’s a mid-range device priced at RM1,500, which the company boasts offers far more at said MSRP than the rest of the competition.
Its main 64MP rear, main camera has optical image stabilization (OIS), which is an essential feature for capturing smooth results. This is especially true when recording a subject that’s moving or a wide, panoramic scene.
Vivo also says that the phone will allow you to capture smooth and crisp content even in low-light conditions, which is something many mid-range phones struggle to achieve. That said, we can’t verify these claims until we’ve had the time to thoroughly test this phone.
That said, the cool, curved LED screen is something we rarely see at the affordable end of the smartphone market. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate that should produce instant responses to a user’s touch input. It can reach a maximum brightness of 1300nits, which should make content easy to watch even in direct sunlight.
The Y78 5G comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage space. We don’t know if it supports an external SD card but that should be revealed on said launch date. But what we do know is that it comes with a 5,000mAh battery and compatibility for 44W Flashcarge technology.
