Vivo today introduced its new X70 series of flagship smartphones in a variety of markets. The X70 series – consisting of the X70, X70 Pro and X70 Pro+ – is the next installment in vivo’s global imaging partnership with ZEISS. The vivo X70 series lineup includes new portrait photography modes by ZEISS, as well as the latest mobile imaging technology, along with the best ergonomics to ensure users get the most out of their devices.

The vivo X70 line of smartphones is presently available in markets as diverse as India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, and more, thus expanding the company’s regional presence across Asia and the Middle East. A device’s specifications and availability may vary based on the local market and consumer preferences.

Vivo’s X70 series integrates top-notch imaging features inside and out to produce a wonderful photography experience that lets you record or capture extremely natural-looking photos or videos. On the camera specs front, the entire X70 lineup has 32MP front cameras, while rear quad-camera arrays have been installed on both the X70 Pro+ (50MP + 48MP + 12MP + 8MP) and the X70 Pro (50MP + 12MP+ 12MP + 8MP), with the X70 using a tri-camera system (40MP + 12MP + 12MP).

The X70 series users now have the ability to use three Portrait Style features – inspired by the iconic lenses Distagon, Planar and Sonnar – that vivo has added to the Biotar Portrait Style. Using a “Distagon” style provides an anamorphic look, adding dynamic perspective effects to critical interior and architectural photography for Hollywood filmmaking aesthetics. With the “Planar” adaption, portrait photography reveals true characteristics and conveys genuine expressions with classic bokeh effects. “Sonnar” mode is known for its creamy bokeh, making it ideal for documenting authentic events with depth and clarity using portraits.

A certified ZEISS T * Coating is embedded into the entire vivo X70 lineup to reduce reflections, enhance light transmission, reduce ghosting, stray light, compression artifacts and other image distortions for better image quality. The RX70 series’ rear camera array is adorned with ZEISS’ recognizable logo and T* Coating label, while its protruding flashlight panel bears the ZEISS Vario-Tessar trademark.

A new Imaging Chip V1 and a High-Transmittance Glass Lens are found on the X70 Pro+ at the top of the line. This self-designed imaging chip, from vivo, uses an AI system to apply noise reduction (NR) and motion estimation (MEMC) effects throughout the board. Improved image quality is achieved through the monolithic glass lenses.

X70 Pro+ boasts a 48megapixel Ultra-Wide Gimbal Camera and 50MP Ultra-Sensing GN1 Sensor along with 360° Horizon Leveling Stabilization to provide unwavering stability, even during intense action sequences. For photography and videography in dynamic motion, users may use the Ultra-Sensing Gimbal Camera along with Gimbal Stabilization 3.0 technology on the X70 Pro and X70 models. In the X70 Pro and X70, the VIS 5-Axis Ultra Stable Video feature integrates enhanced OIS with electronic image stabilization to provide well-rounded stability.

The X70 series combines high-performance imaging capabilities with vivo’s multi-mode photography and videography features such as Super Night Video, Pure Night View, and Pro Cinematic Mode with powerful imaging capabilities.
