Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 is a real looker. Whoever said that budget phones aren’t desirable, didn’t lay thier eyes on this phone. Its 6.67-inch, 120Hz display, nearly covers the entire screen. The company says that it has a 91% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is supposed to offer a fluidic user experience and with reduced motion ‘smear’.

At the heart of the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with either 6 or 8GB of RAM, so performance will be good but not great. The non-5G version of the phone is only equiped with the lesser Snapdragon 730G chipset. But both are offered with either a 64 GB or 128GB of storage.

Juice is powered via a 4500mAh battery, which should promise all day battery life. It’s equipped with either a 30W or 27W fast charge feature that enables the battery to be charged to full within 66 minutes.

On the rear, the K30 has a 64MP quad camera setup. The main 64MP shooter has a Sony IMX686 1/1.17-inch large sensor, which can capture 9248 x 6936 high resolution images. Its supported by a ultra-wide angle camera, a 2cm macro camera and a portrait lens. Up front there is a 20MP dual AI front camera that can take selfies with good bokeh effects.

Xiaomi says that with Night Mode 2.0 feature and the latest RAW multi-frame AI noise reduction algorithm, allow the Redmi K30 to capture pictures in rich detail, despite low light conditions. It also has Movie Mode and twelve filter options that can produce decent quality videos with relative ease.
