Apple announces service program for iPhone 6s & 6s Plus

October 5, 2019 Off By Naveen Victor

Apple has introduced a service programme for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus for a power issue. Apparently, a component in these phones may fail, which in turn, could cause a power problem that prevents them from turning on. Not all devices are affected though, only a select number of them are involved. Checkout this Apple Support Page to find out if your iPhone is affected by this problem.

If your phone’s serial number is affected by this problem, Apple would like to advise you to do one of the following:
– Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
– Make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store.
– Contact Apple Support to arrange mail-in service via the Apple Repair Center.

Customers who have already paid for said repairs prior to the introduction of this service program, are eligible for a refund from Apple itself. Visit the Apple Support Page for information.
