Apple TV+ Now Includes CBS And SHOWTIME

Apple is sweetening the deal to its streaming service by bundling CBS All Access and SHOWTIME with its Apple TV+ subscription. Only for US customers, the new plan enables Apple TV+ subscribers to enjoy its own original shows and that of CBS, ad-free, for a $9.99 a month.

However, through family sharing, up to 6 family members can share the same subscription and enjoy Apple TV+, CBS All Access and Showtime. The bundle is especially enticing to those who are fans of CBS’ plethora of shows and movies.

CBS shows include:

SpongeBob SquarePants, Chappelle’s Show, The Legend of Korra, BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon and those from Paramount Pictures. CBS All Access also includes the live feed of a subscriber’s local CBS station, including major sporting events like “NFL on CBS” and more.

SHOWTIME features popular original series such as Billions, The Chi, Black Monday, Homeland, Shameless, We Hunt Together, Desus and Mero,” SHOWTIME Championship Boxing and movies and documentaries like Hustlers, Waves, Outcry, and The Go Go’s.

Those who purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, or iPod touch will get one-year access to the Apple TV+ streaming service for free. And with the addition of CBS shows, the prospect of splurging on a new Apple devices, doesn’t seem too bad.

Apple TV+ subscribers can watch their content on various computing platforms through the use of the Apple TV app. Cupertino has already made it available on several Samsung and LG Smart TVs a well as Roku and Amazon Fire TB devices. Support for Sony and VIZIO smart TVs will follow later this year.
