If you’re a HomePod mini fan, you’ll be happy to know that Apple is offering the little speaker in three new colours: yellow, orange and blue. Prior to their introduction, you could only buy one in white or space grey. The new additions feature colour-matched details throughout the exterior including tinted touch surface, mesh fabric, volume icons, and woven power cable.

Apple’s HomePod mini is just 3.3 inches tall but manages to deliver some impressive features. It uses computational audio to maximize its hardware and deliver a proper acoustic experience. And is designed to deliver a 360-degree audio experience that should be able to fill a room.

You can daisy-chain a few of them together to play the same music throughout a house or a different song in each room. Connecting two of them together, allows for a stereo audio delivery that is supposed to create an even more immersive experience.

Connecting the HomePod mini is simple. Just bring an iPhone that is playing music or streaming a podcast, close to it. Then, Apple’s software should recognize this action and handover said work to it. With built in Siri support, this speaker can recognize up to six different user voices for voice commands. She can deliver the latest news, weather, traffic, reminders, and calendar appointments.

The HomePod mini can also communicate with other smart appliances in your home. With simple voice commands Siri can turn off the lights, change the temperature, lock the doors, set a scene, or control devices at specific times. Intercom support allows users to send voice messages from one speaker to a single speaker in a specific room or all of them.

HomePod mini is available starting today in yellow, orange, and blue, in addition to white and space gray, for $99 (US) from apple.com/store and at Apple Store locations.
