DIGI Offers Affordable Deals With Jaringan PRIHATIN

To help eligible Malaysians stay connected and in keeping with Jaringan PRIHATIN subsidies Digi is offering special packages to subscribers. Around 8 million Malaysians are eligible for Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR), with two options to choose from: RM180 rebate for prepaid and postpaid plans or RM300 subsidy for smartphones and tablets.

Since 5 May 2021, Digi has been providing special offers to eligible Malaysians as part of the Jaringan PRIHATIN Programme. Malaysians who are recipients of Digital Products Rebates (BPR) can choose one of Digi’s below offers:

* RM180 rebates for prepaid and postpaid plans – Malaysians who qualify will receive a monthly rebate of RM15 and an additional 2GB of data daily for up to a year. Jaringan PRIHATIN customers have the option to utilize the RM15 monthly rebate against Digi’s Prepaid Next plan, which provides 30GB high speed data along with unlimited call minutes for RM20 (after rebate).

* RM300 device subsidy – RM300 will be provided to Malaysian families for the purchase of 4G smartphones and tablets for their children. Digi offers special smartphone bundles in support of the government’s objective for both prepaid and postpaid customers.

The Digi Prepaid smartphone bundle is a 3 month high-speed Internet package that will cost RM100 with no contract commitment, which includes an unlimited call plan, a limited amount of data (up to 30GB each month), and a free Samsung Galaxy A02 handset. This new offering is available only between May 5 and July 31 of 2021.

As Digi’s Chief Marketing Officer, Praveen Rajan said, “Throughout this period of economic uncertainty, Digi stands ready to serve and help our customers, especially those within the B40 community who may be facing financial hardship, stay connected with what matters most.”

After the three-month registration period, which will end on 31 July 2021, all eligible Malaysians including Digi’s existing customers are encouraged to sign up for the program starting from 5 May 2021.

Digi has made it easy for both existing and new customers to check their eligibility and to register online via https://www.digi.com.my/jaringan-prihatin-bm. It is also possible to register at any of Digi’s authorized stores nationwide such as Digi Stores, Digi Store Express and SenHeng, as well as convenience stores such as 7-Eleven, 99 Speedmart, KK SUPER MART, myNews and Happy Mart.
