June 3, 2021Over 356 million people listen to all kinds of music on Spotify. There are over 70 million tracks to listen to, as well as 2.6 million podcasts. There’s always a new and fresh playlist to be discovered, shared, and enjoyed. But only you know which playlist best fits you.
Spotify has therefore launched Only You, a global campaign with an enhanced app experience and a personalized playlist that celebrates that. Only You is dedicated to celebrating the muic you love. On Spotify.com/OnlyYou, music lovers can find a special shareable experience similar to Wrapped.
In-app stats allow you to share your results
Now that Spotify is available for Android and iOS devices, you can get the Only You experience using the Spotify app. Prepare for:
1. Audio birth charts: There’s something cosmic about this musical meeting. Based on your Sun sign, you can determine which artist you have been listening to the most for the last six months. Your Moon sign dictates a particular artist whose work best reflects your emotional side. The Rising sign combines everything with an artist you have recently communicated with.
2. The Dream Dinner Party: Choose your dream dinner party guests among these three artists. Upon selecting the trio, Spotify will create a personalized Spotify Mix for each of the artists to set the mood for dinner.
3. Artist Pairings: Throughout this experience, you will hear unique audio pairings that demonstrate your varying levels of listening interest.
4. Songs you listen to: Who are the artists you listen to? You’ll see how the music takes you through different time periods via your musical travels.
5. Explore your time of day: No matter what time of day you listen to music or podcasts, you can find the content that appeals to you.
6. Genres and topics: Finally, combine music and podcast genres to make sure your listening is completely unique.
By the end of the journey, you’ll have created new playlists that are uniquely you. Once the campaign has ended, they can still be found in the Only You hub.

Blend it together
Music is powerful in bringing people together, and Only You celebrates the unique ways in which eligible users listen. As well as Only You, Blend is another personalized feature Spotify is rolling out. Blend, currently in beta beta, gives two friends the opportunity to merge their musical tastes into a customized playlist made specifically for them.
Daily updates will be made to Blend. If you invite a friend who owns a Spotify free or premium plan, Blend will adjust automatically based on how the user’s tastes change over time.
The following is how to do it:
1. Open the Made For You hub on your mobile device, then select “Create Blend.”.
2. To invite a friend, tap “Invite” and send a single-use invitation as a message or email. (You will need to generate a new invitation for each friend you want to blend with.)
3. Your friend will receive a custom track list once they accept the invite and join Blend, filled with songs you already love, along with recommendations based on a combination of the two of yours preferences.
4. This also makes it easy to determine how each friend has influenced the track choice. The profile icons next to each track can be found by checking them.
Globally available on iOS and Android, Blend is a mobile-only experience. The Blend feature is currently in beta, and Spotify will continue to improve it with user feedback over time to ensure that it deliver’s the best possible listening experience.
