Garmin Releases Venu Sq Fitness Smartwatch
September 24, 2020Garmin has released two new smartwatches, the Venu Sq and Venu Sq Music. Similar in appearance to the Huami Fit Bip and now obsolete Pebble, the these devices offer a wide range of fitness based functions that cater to those who are on a budget. Just as the name suggest, the latter, can store up to 500 tracks and is compatible with Amazon Music, Spotify and Deezer.
Sporting a 1.3-inch TFT display, the Venu Sq features a variety of functions that include a 24/7 heart rate monitoring function (even when swimming) and pulse Ox sensor. There several other functions such as extended sleep analysis, menstrual cycle tracking and body battery. It even recognizes when you’re stressed, and provides relaxation techniques.
There are 20 pre-installed sports profiles that encourage you to keep fit and exercise more often. It records relevant information that can be reviewed later. This includes progress analyzed for a variety of indoor and outdoor activities – such as yoga, running, cycling or weight training.

The watch supports smart notification as well as news and weather information. Users can also view their calendar appointments and make cashless and contactless payments.
