Lenovo and SentinelOne Partner For A Better Tomorrow
March 12, 2020Lenovo and SentinelOne have announced a new strategic partnership that will incorporate SentinelOne’s security platform into the Lenovo’s ThinkShield security portfolio. Consumers will now be able to purchase Lenovo devices with SentinelOne, which will deliver real-time security protection, powered by AI.
This new alliance will allow SentinelOne’s AI security to become a core component of Lenovo’s THinkShield Security offerings. And it will be rolled out to workstations, servers, cloud workloads and iOT devices to help defend themselves against malicious software attacks.
The AI models that are created, will help predict tomorrow’s attacks today and enable devices to self-heal from any virus threats, instantaneously. SentinelOne’s Behavioral AI will be replacing the standard antivirus and deliver real-time prevention, detection, response and hunting against known malware strains.
The collaboration with Lenovo, will allow SentinelOne to defend consumer products effectively, against cyber criminals. Both companies believe that together, they can develop better security features, harden endpoint devices from threats without impacting everyday work.
If proven to be fruitful, this alliance will provide customers with good products that are well defended against various types of attacks. Since AI can now predict intrusions before they happen, it should help reduce the number of people who fall victim to scams and data theft.
