The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is the toughest and most versatile phone on the market. The thickened bezels, tough exterior and IP68 rating, make it look like a no-nonsense device. In fact, it can withstand a drop from 1.5m high without sustaining damage!

Thanks to the pogo pin charging support, the XCover Pro can be charged by just about any charging dock on the market. But its 4,050mAh battery should provide enough juice for the entire day.

However, If that still isn’t enough and patience isn’t one of your virtues, just pop in the spare battery – hello 2011!. In case you didn’t know, the spare battery is sold separately as is the license for the Knox programme.

The phone also has two programmable buttons that can be configured to do things like open the scanner, turn on the flashlight or launch an app without having to sift through the entire app menu. They can also be used to turn the phone into a sophisticated walkie talkie.

The screen is a 6.3’ FHD+ Infinity Display. Granted, it isn’t the best display out there but it’s one that can take a beating in the rain and snow and still keep going. Since the XCover Pro means business, it can be connected to several other hardware solutions from Infinite Peripherals, KOAMTAC, Scandit and Visa.

The XCover Pro is a very capable device that will be to the liking of those who are constantly on the move and want a device that can keep up with their rigorous activities.
