Alienware Released AMD Powered Gaming Machines

Dell’s gaming PC arm, Alienware has released a slew of machines powered by AMD’s latest processors. After a decade of passing them over for Intel offerings, the company has started to include Team Red’s new Ryzen cpus since April, 2021. This year, there are three new machines that will be made available to purchase.

The first on the list is the Aurora Ryzen Edition R14, a gaming tower with red accents, that’s built to maximize airflow. It’s also being offered with a new liquid cooler option that provides 42% better thermal resistance than a standard liquid cooler.

This gaming rig can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor and AMD 3D V-Cache technology for better frame rates. The following is the detailed specifications:

For gaming on the move, Alienware offers the M15 R7 that features a new cooling solution that has thinner and wider fan blades than the M15 R5 or R6. If configured with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or higher, include updated fans that have 37.5% thinner blade thickness.

You can choose between three keyboard options with a 1.8mm key travel, which include a 1-zone AlienFX backlit keyboard, per key AlienFX backlist keyboard to a CherryMX ultra low-profile mechanical keyboard. The laptop weighs a maximum of 3.09kg or 6.82lbs and includes an 87Whr Lithium-Ion battery.
