Aonic Introducing Drone Delivery Solutions

Aonic, the distributor of DJI Enterprise solutions in Malaysia, has unveiled its latest venture as the national distributor for DJI Delivery.

This marks its significant expansion into the autonomous logistics sector. Bolstering this new service is the introduction of two drone solutions: DJI Dock 2, from DJI Enterprise Remote Drone Operation Solutions, and DJI FlyCart 30, DJI’s Delivery drone.

The DJI Dock 2 is an advanced “Drone in a Box”, that fulfils automated drone operations through the deployment of both Matrice 3D or 3TD options. Notably, the DJI Dock 2 model is 75% smaller and 68% lighter than its predecessor.

This allows for flexible installation and reduced costs alongside the integration of multiple sensors for real-time weather monitoring. The DJI Dock 2 can recharge the aircraft batteries from 20% to 90% in just 32 minutes.

The DJI Matrice 3D models specifically are equipped with both a tele camera and a wide-angle camera with a mechanical shutter, meeting the needs for 1:500 high-precision mapping tasks.

Meanwhile, the DJI Matrice 3TD drones are equipped with the triple threat of a wide-angle camera, a tele camera, and an infrared camera, enabling the depiction of visible light and thermal images, suitable for security and inspection operations.

DJI FlyCart 30

DJI FlyCart 30 is a long-distance heavy lifter aiming to overcome traditional logistical limitations, as it is designed with delivery capabilities in mind. On dual batteries, it can easily travel 16 km with a maximum payload of 30 kg – which can be upgraded to 40 kg if operated with a single battery.

It can be configured into two modes: Cargo mode and Winch mode. Both are intended for accomplishing different types of goods deliveries. The Cargo mode is more streamlined and steady, coming with an Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) case that supports easy loading and unloading. Moreover, its weight and centre-of-gravity detection ensures balanced cargo loading for a safe and stable flight.

Winch mode is tailored for a more flexible and precise approach, using a retractable cable that can be controlled either manually or automatically. In this mode, any cargo is released automatically upon touchdown without the need for manual detachment, ensuring a safe and precise delivery.

DJI FlyCart 30 is said to be a safe, economical, and efficient air transport solution with a 20 m/s maximum flight speed using carbon fibre propellers, and the ability to support DJI OccuSync 3.0 video transmission over up to 20 km.

For the DJI FlyCart 30, the standard package comprises the FlyCart 30 Aircraft, DB2000 Intelligent Flight Battery, DJI C8000 Intelligent Battery Station, DJI RC Plus (Delivery), DJI FlyCart 30 Winch System Kit and 2600W 4-Channel Intelligent Battery Charger – PART01 – AC Cable (America Version).

DJI Dock 2

For DJI Dock 2, customers have the option to choose between bundles featuring either the DJI Matrice 3D or DJI Matrice 3TD drones, including the DJI Matrice 3D Series Intelligent Flight Battery, DJI Matrice 3D Charging Kit, and DJI Matrice 3D Series Propellers.
