Google’s competitor to OpenAI, Bard is evolving to be the only AI assistant you will ever need. Despite being the pioneer in artificial intelligence, the search giant was leapfrogged by competitors like ChatGPT to produce advanced chatbots. That might change soon as the Search giant begins to offer Bard to more regions in more languages with the use of AI principles.

Bard is now available in 40 languages including Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi and Spanish. The chatbot is also available in more regions that include Brazil and several parts of Europe. Besides providing answers to your text prompts, the helpful AI assistant can do a slew of new things to make the user experience that much better.

Bard can read out loud
Instead of just producing text-based answers, Bard can now read them aloud, in a fairly natural sounding voice. This could prove useful in situations where you need to hear correct word pronunciation or want a large amount of text to be read aloud to you.

Adjust How Bard Produces Answers
Google lets you change the tone and style for Bard, they are simple, long, short, professional or casual. This will allow the AI chatbot to produce results that are closer to what you require. Select your preferred option from the dropdown menu. This feature is available in English for now, but Google will be expanding it to more languages soon.

Revisit prompts as well as pin or rename them
This used to be a ChatGPT exclusive, but Bard now allows you to pin and rename conversations. After you start one, there’ll be options to pin, rename and resume recent conversations in the sidebar. Said feature is now available in 40 languages.

More options to export code
Bard is great at producing code or helping you with creating ones that are specific to your needs. But that isn’t all, you can ask it to run said code in a sandbox environment to verify that it works as intended without risking it comprising your current system state. You can now export Python code to Replit and Google Colab in 40 languages.

Share your prompts with others
Google has now included shareable links with your chats with Bard. The feature, which is available in 40 languages, allows users to easily share their results with friends and family members.

Include images in your prompts with Bard
Google Lens, the company’s image-based search service allows you to look for things online with a simple picture or image. The search engine understands the image and the context of your query in order to return the appropriate result. That’s being integrated into Bard, so you can upload an image with the appropriate prompt and receive an answer. It’s only available in English for now.
