Honda Malaysia Lends Helping Hand To Customers Affected By Recent Floods

In light of the devastating impact that the recent flash floods have had on motorists in Malaysia, Honda has announced its Flood Relief Programme. It aims to provide aid to customers whose cars were affected by the recent floods in the form of a 25% discount on genuine parts that require replacement.

The programme will run until 31st January 2022 with the goal of supporting repair work of affected Honda customers in the flood-stricken areas. If you fit the criteria, visit any visit any of the Honda authorized dealers for assessment process and inspection service.

Speaking of the programme, Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Madoka Chujo said, “We are deeply saddened by the floods that have inundated several states in Malaysia. We hope that with the rolling out of this Flood Relief Programme, we can help to relieve the burden of our valued customers.”

In addition to providing towing services for cars affected by floods, customers are also entitled to receive flood allowance of up to RM1,500. Honda is also working with insurance companies to help speed up the claim process of the affected customers.

Those who have subscribed to Honda Insurance Plus (HiP), can receive a free inspection for their cars to ensure that they’re safe to be driven. Said service is part of the company’s peace of mind mantra aimed at ensuring Honda owners receive a comprehensive coverage plan for trouble-free motoring.
