Huawei Celebrates One Year of Streaming
March 29, 2021HUAWEI Video, the video-on-demand (VOD) platform owned by Huawei, is celebrating its first anniversary in the Philippines with fans. Thee streaming platform announced the launch of a limited-time ‘Huawei Video Turns 1’ campaign among Filipino users. The campaign offers users their latest products as well as the chance to subscribe to their service for free.
HUAWEI Video has become one of the fastest-growing video streaming services in Asia Pacific since launching its all-in-one video streaming app on March 2020. Users of the app will have access to hundreds of hours of high-quality music videos and movies. The app comes pre-installed on Huawei devices.
It also has a plethora of content geared to children, including stories, movies, and documentaries. The platform is currently available across six markets in the Asia Pacific region, including Hong Kong (China), Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. It is also scheduled to launch in Indonesia later this year.
“Huawei Video has grown rapidly in the past year, demonstrating a huge demand for streaming content in Asia and we are committed to bringing great content to consumers through curation and partnerships,” Shaine Shan, Director of Huawei Asia Pacific Consumer Cloud Service said.
HUAWEI New Release Content
Ahead of its one-year anniversary, the streaming platform has announced the addition of domestic content including Can’t Help Falling in Love and My Exs and Whys, as well as Chinese content like Sisters Season 2 from MangoTV and TVB drama Beauty and The Boss.
In addition to the content above, the app also features popular content from Discovery like Say Yes to the Dress from Discovery and What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim from CJ E&M. The ‘HUAWEI Video Turns One’ campaign is also being launched in conjunction with the celebration, with a limited time offer of discount codes and HUAWEI devices to HUAWEI Video subscribers in the Philippines .
