Huawei’s Six Partner Alliances at APAC Partners Conference 2023

Huawei, a leading technology company, has recently brought together over 1,200 partners from more than 10 countries and regions in an effort to explore new avenues for growth and shape the future. This collaborative event also witnessed the launch of the APAC Partners Alliance by Huawei.

The Asia-Pacific region has been at the forefront of global economic growth, particularly in terms of digitalization and innovation. Huawei recognizes the significance of this region and aims to strengthen its partner ecosystem. With over 7,900 enterprise partners and more than 2,000 cloud partners in the Asia-Pacific, Huawei is committed to increasing its investment in partnerships and providing incentives for its partners.

To further enhance collaboration and address specific industry needs, Huawei introduced six new partner alliances for various sectors, including government, finance, electric power, road, waterway, port, independent software vendors (ISVs), and data center facility solutions. Over 70 partners from across the Asia-Pacific region participated in the launch ceremony, demonstrating their commitment to continued cooperation and innovation.

During the event, David Wang, Huawei Executive Director of the Board, Chairman of the ICT Infrastructure Managing Board, and President of the Enterprise BG, emphasized the immense opportunities presented by digital and intelligent transformation. He outlined Huawei’s unique partner development strategies for the named account market, commercial market, and distribution business in the Asia-Pacific region. Wang highlighted the importance of mutual success, stating that Huawei can only succeed when its partners succeed.

Nicholas Ma, President of Huawei APAC Enterprise Business Group, shared the company’s five-year forecast for the region. Huawei expects significant business growth, with partners contributing to 95% of its revenue. The company envisions its partners earning $800 million annually through the sale of Huawei products and services. Huawei is committed to helping its partners deliver valuable services to customers and achieve greater business returns.

Bob Chen, Huawei’s Enterprise BG Vice President and Enterprise Marketing & Solution Sales President, discussed Huawei’s strategies for the named account market, commercial market, and distribution business. Chen emphasized the importance of industry solutions, marketable products, IT platforms, and digital transformation in government and enterprise customers across the Asia-Pacific region.

William Dong, President of Huawei Cloud’s Marketing, outlined Huawei Cloud’s goal to develop over 1 million partners, connect 10 million developers, and serve more than 10 million enterprise customers. He emphasized Huawei Cloud’s commitment to being a foundation and enabler for industrial digitalization, offering superior cloud services and solutions through collaboration with partners.

Charles Yang, President of Global Marketing, Sales, and Services at Huawei Digital Power, discussed the potential for low-carbon opportunities to create a greener future. Yang emphasized the importance of decarbonization, digitalization, and intelligent transformation, projecting a potential market value of trillions of dollars in the coming decades. Huawei aims to be a preferred choice in this era of immense potential by developing a robust and sustainable ecosystem.

The conference included a panel discussion titled “Collaborating for a New Era of Innovation and Growth.” Panelists engaged in conversations regarding strengthening collaboration, finding solutions to real-world business problems, and responding to market needs promptly. The Technical Innovation Summit witnessed the launch of CloudEngine 16800-X, CloudEngine S16700, new storage products, solutions, digitalization tools, and partner support programs for the commercial market in the Asia-Pacific region.
