New iMac and iPad Pro Go On Sale Today!
April 30, 2021Apple’s new iMac, iPad Pro, 4K Apple TV and purple coloured iPhone 12 & 12 Mini will go on sale today, 30th April. That’s not all, they should be available to view in Apple Store locations around the world on the same day.
However, Cupertino will only begin fulfilling orders towards the second half of May. There are two ways to pick up your order. The first is to have it delivered to your doorstep or walk in to a brick and mortar store to pick it up yourself. Same day delivery is offered as an option too.
The new iMac and iPad Pro models are powered by the same M1 chip that debuted in the MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro and Mac Mini. Based on ARM architecture, it’s the first non-Intel chip Apple has used in its computers.
The new iMac is available to order in 7 different colours, which was first seen on the G3 iMac of the 1990s. But the new model is only 11.5mm thick and is fitted with a 24-inch, 4.5K display. Depending on your configuration, you iMac could come with touch ID.
