China
With over a million units sold in a year, the OPPO A103, a phone with an unusual design, became a best seller on the Chinese market in 2008. Its creative design adds a bit of ‘human touch’ to otherwise lifeless and cold tech gadgets to make them feel more intimate towards users. OPPO wants users to feel kindness and warmth through every product and service they provide by putting faith in ” Technology for mankind, kindness for the world.”

Asia and Pacific
An event in the Asia-Pacific region inspired this true story. On patrol, a soldier from the Philippines was ambushed by his enemy. The Reno4 in his pocket miraculously stopped a bullet, resulting in him walking away unscathed. Even after literally taking a bullet for its owner, this Reno4 only suffered a cracked screen and a damaged battery. With its repairs completed, the phone is now working perfectly again.

South Asia
The COVID-19 pandemic lockdown has been difficult for everyone. In the midst of such turbulent times, OPPO hosted an online music festival with four Pakistani singers: Bilal Saeed, Asim Azhar, Shamoon Ismail, and Ali Hamza. To cheer people up and encourage them to stay inside, the event went on for four days. It is OPPO’s goal for everyone to experience the warmth that can be achieved by combining technology and music.

India
The OPPO super factory in India produces an OPPO smartphone every three seconds. Over 150 quality assurance tests are performed here after the materials have gone through a series of manufacturing processes. OPPO’s Greater Noida facility produces millions of mobile phones each month, demonstrating its commitment to India and the world, proving that Made-in-India can compete globally.

How does it feel to light up the tallest building in the world? You can ask OPPO! OPPO Reno2 was launched by an impressive light show atop the 828m Burj Khalifa, demonstrating its amazing imaging capabilities.

Japan
Reno and Rino sound similar, don’t they? OPPO invited the Japanese celebrity Rino – Sashihara Rino, who shares the same pronunciation as Reno, to be the brand ambassador for the OPPO Reno3 A phone in the Japan market.

Western Europe
The OPPO Find X, which fuses technology with art, is OPPO’s first device to hit the European market. A glass pyramid at the Louvre in France showcased it to the world. Pop-up cameras with their double periscope structure and high screen-to-body ratio were an instant classic and amazed everyone, even the Mona Lisa.

Central and Eastern Europe
OPPO’s global manufacturing journey reached its tenth stop at a Turkish factory. OPPO’s new chapter of global expansion marked an important milestone. A CKD factory (Completely Knocked Down) is the only nearby factory that was completed within four months. Also, it was fully qualified and used highly automated Surface Mount Technology. From that day on, “Made in Turkey” mobile phones met not only the needs of local users, but were also offered globally.

OPPO’s global journey will take it to Latin America in 2020. Our business has expanded into Mexico, Chile, and Colombia within only five quarters. As a result of our 7004% annual growth in Latin America, OPPO has also entered the top five markets in the region for the first time once again!
