Samsung’s decision to pack the Galaxy M31 with mid-range hardware is a cause for celebration for budget minded buyers. It comes with a large 6,000mAh, 6.4 inch FHD+ super AMOLED edge-to-edge Infinity-U Display and a whopping 64MP main camera.

Despite the changing times, the glossy looking M31 has been given a teardrop shaped selfie camera, sizable bottom bezel and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. Considering the device’s pricetag, the trade-offs seem warranted.

The quad camera setup features a 64MP main camera, Ultra Wide 8MP with the angle view 123 degrees, Depth 5MP sensor that blurs the background, 5MP Macro Camera keeps close-ups in focus and 32MP front camera. Believe it or not, the M31 is capable of shooting video at 4K (3840×2160) at 60fps, which is an astonishing feat considering that the A51 can only capture 2160p at 30fps.

As far as performance is concerned, the M31 is no slouch. It has an Exynos 9611, 6GB RAM and 128 GB of storage space. These are identical specs to that of the A51 despite being priced a little lower. Here’s an in-depth look at the specs:
