Steam’s autumn sale is too good to ignore!

November 30, 2019 Off By Naveen Victor

Steam‘s annual autumn sale (November 26th – December 3rd) is an event most PC gamers yearn for, all year long. It’s during this time of the year that most games are offered at incredible discounts. I managed to snag a few titles with as much as 90% off of the regular retail prices. That is equivalent to purchasing about 3 games for the price of one (off sale price).

If you have a Steam account, I highly recommend that you login as soon as possible and browse its catalog of games. Purchases that you might have been putting off throughout the year due to the high prices, may now be within budget. Dirt Rally 2.0, a game I’ve been itching to purchase for a while, is listed at 70% off.

This is also the case for several other games that were on my wishlist. Due to pure nostalgia alone, I also picked up the older Counter Strike games, Source and Condition Zero for only about $1. Cities: Skylines, the SIM style city building/planning game, well that’s on sale at 75%. Suffice it to say, i bagged as many of these deals as I could – blowing a hole in my wallet in the process.

But I’m fine with that, because such deals are not easy to come by, especially since I plan on spending this entire holiday season, gaming. It’s the best way to end this tumultuous 2019. Who needs Stadia when Steam is willing to offer us our most coveted games at ‘chump change’ prices?

In case you didn’t know, Steam is a one-stop solution for purchasing and playing PC games. Using its program, users can buy games and have them installed automatically without much hassle. Saved games are also backed up to the cloud for safekeeping. It updates the games as and when needed, allowing you to focus on playing them.
