Ultimate Rivals, a revolutionary yet entertaining sports game

The “Ultimate Rivals: The Rink” is a cross-discipline sports game that gather All-Star Athletes from NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, WNBA and US Women’s National Soccer Team and mash them together on the ice.

Apple says that this is a unique sports game that brings together athletes from hockey, basketball, football, baseball and soccer. All these players are now part of a single officially licensed video game.

Players can choose from more than 50 superstar athletes to compete in exciting two-on-two hockey matches. They can combine, Alex Ovechkin and Alex Morgan against De’Aaron Fox and Jose Altuve or Skylar Diggins-Smith and Wayne Gretzky.

Different combinations unlock unique ways to play and win against the AI or other gamers. It’s an experience unlike any other, which allows fans of various different sports to come together on a single platform to enjoy an eventful gaming experience.

Ultimate Rivals: The Rink is available on Apple Arcade for the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac. In autumn 2020, the next installment of the game will be an NBA licensed basketball one called, “Ultimate Rivals: The Court”.

Apple says that Ultimate Rivals: The Rink is able to offer smooth 60-frames per-second graphics performance coupled with vivid visuals and sounds. Players have the option of playing online with friends or take on AI opponents in single player mode. Gamers are free to use the Bluetooth controllers of their choice or rely on the the iPhone or iPad’s touch controls.
