ZoomCare Launches Virtual Therapy to Expand Mental Health Offerings
July 21, 2021As part of its comprehensive mental health services to Oregon residents, ZoomCare, the on-demand healthcare innovator and creator based in the Northwest, now offers Mental Health Therapy. Therapists provide live video visits with clients on-demand through Mental Health Therapy.
You can schedule a 30-minute virtual session online on the same day or up to 30 days in advance. ZoomCare’s therapy visits are efficient and on-time, so busy families can continue with their daily lives with no waiting rooms and no commuting.
In addition to in-person and virtual therapy options, ZoomCare Mental Health offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) that are evidence-based.
The ZoomCare Mental Health professionals can help with stress management, anxiety management, and managing depression. Additionally, they can assist with ADHD/ADD, bipolar disorders, and insomnia. Additionally, patients can utilize ZoomCare’s Mental Health Therapy service in conjunction with other ZoomCare services, including mental health medication prescriptions from trained mental health clinicians offered by its Mental Health Meds & More service, and its ChatCare online communication service.
In addition to ZoomCare Super and DailyCare (illness & injury), other providers can help with assessments and care coordination for people who require mental health care. Within the integrated ZoomCare system, the journey to recovery can begin anywhere.
“We are excited to offer Virtual Mental Health Therapy, an evidence-based, virtual mental health therapeutic offering, to those seeking mental health support in our Oregon communities,” said Dr. Erik Vanderlip, MD, MPH, chief medical officer at ZoomCare.
He added, “ZoomCare’s patients are able to get access to mental health services integrated with primary care, crisis assessment, and navigation to appropriate care in one comprehensive on-demand virtual ecosystem. In addition, we take most insurance plans”!
The results of a survey indicated that 62% of consumers would prefer a virtual visit for their regular mental health checkups even if in person visits are safe. With virtual mental health services, you can enjoy more convenience, comfort, and privacy than in-person therapy. The results of the therapy are on par with in-person therapy.
