Google’s Chrome on mobile is constantly getting better with age. The company has now introduced several new features that make your searches more efficient and productive. Though the advent of AI has rendered legacy search queries redundant, there are still instances when more options are needed to point you in the right direction. That’s when some of these new features will come in handy.

More Related Search Options
When you’re on an eligible site, and click on the Chrome address bar, you’ll receive relevant search suggestions. The browser will give several search queries that are relevant to what you are reading at that time. For example, if you’re reading a blog post about visiting a certain place, you might see suggestions for nearby restaurants or places to see while you’re there.

View Trending Searches
When you open a new tab in Chrome, then tap the address bar, you’ll see a list of trending searches. Tap on any one of them and you be taken to the results page of said topic. This feature is only available for Chrome on Android for now but expect to see it on the iOS version later this year.

Do More with Touch to Search
Tapping on a word or phrase on a webpage in Chrome allows you to search its/their meaning but now, you can do more. When said word or phrase is highlighted, Chrome also produces a search carousel at the bottom of the page that contains relevant searches.

Increased number of suggestions
The moment you start typing in the Chrome address bar, you’ll now see 10 search suggestions instead of the standard six. The most relevant ones will appear first, but you’ll be able to see all 10 of them by scrolling down the page. This feature is available to both Android and iOS devices.
