But a company called Mobile Pixels believes that this doesn’t have to be the case, and that you can have your cake and eat it at the same time.
Its product, the DUEX Pro, is a 12.5-inch full HD monitor that is being marketed as a secondary display for any laptop. It can be anchored to your laptop screen’s rear, and then slid out to act as an extension of said screen.

In addition to this, the DUEX Pro can also be be rotated 270 degrees or 180 degrees, which could prove useful during presentations. It’s a matte 1080p, anti-glare panel that can be connected to any laptop via USB Type-C or A port.
It weighs a mere 1.6lbs or 0.73kg and is made from ABS plastic. It will draw about 4.5W of power and the company says that it’s very energy efficient. The DUEX Pro is available to purchase on the company’s website for $249.00. Customers outside the US can expect to pay a little extra, depending on location.
