Google Play Awards 2020, Vote For Your Favourite

The end of the year is quickly approaching, and though most of us have had very few fond memories this year, there are a few things that we can look back on and appreciate. Firstly, it’s our new-found empathy for one another. Instead of being consumed with our daily lives, we have deemed it necessary to look around, and lend a helping hand to those in need.

There’s also the observance of proper hand hygiene, which has changed the way we interact with each other and handle common items. It has provided us with a sense of awareness of how easy it can be to spread viruses and bacteria with a mere handshake. COVID-19 has done a number on us, but instead of breaking us apart, it caused us to come together as one.

Likewise, Google believes throughout the strife we’ve faced this year, our smartphones have played a vital role in keeping us informed and entertained. Google Play’s 2020 best of awards aims to shine a spotlight on apps that have been most useful to the Android community. Staring from now till November 23rd, you can help pick “users’ Choice” winners.

This can be done by voting for your favorite apps from a shortlist of this year’s most loved and trending ones that include games, movies and books. You can visit the Google Play page to cast your vote, before submissions close on November 23rd. Winners of the Users’ Choice awards and the rest of the “Best of 2020” picks by Google, will be revealed on December 1st.
