Infinix Note 30 Series: Tech-Packed Enabling Rapid Charging & Intelligent Usability

Infinix’s Note 30 and Note 30 Pro feature impressive fast charging technology. Instead of waiting a few hours to fully charge the phone, you’d be able to accomplish the feat in a mere 30 minutes. If you do own of these phones, chances are that you’ll never worry about your phone dying on you.

The absence of this helpless feeling is due to Infinix’s dual-channel fast charge technology with new generation charging pumps. This 68W rapid charging for the Pro is possible because of what the company calls Substrate Switch Charge Pump technology. It enables high efficiency of 98.5% with less heat generation.

As a result of this, the Note 30 Pro charges from 1% to 80% in a mere 30 minutes. That said, it will take a lot longer to accomplish the same task by using the supported 15W wireless charging method. Another thing that sets the Note 30 series phones apart from the competition is the fact they can be used while being charged.

This is made possible because of the bypass charge feature. After your battery charge state reaches 30%, power is supplied to the motherboard instead of the battery. As such, the phone remains cool while being used while offering the maximum performance available. It also helps extend the life of the battery.

If the need arises, the Note 30 series can also be used as a power bank to charge other phones or devices through its reverse charge feature. It can be utilized by either connecting a charging cable between the devices or wirelessly by touching the two supported phones together.

The charging brick, which is provided in the box, supports PD 2.0, PD 3.0, PPS protocol and others, which allows it to charge most type-C phones/devices with a maxim output of 45W. This is good news because you can use a single brick with many devices.

Power E-IQ leverages the power of AI to optimize the charging rate to ensure that your battery isn’t overcharged and that electricity isn’t wasted. The phone learns your usage patterns and picks the most efficient way to charge the phone. It will usually charge the battery to 80% during the night, then top off the remaining 20% just before you wake up.

For users who experience unstable electricity in their homes, the Note 30 series uses a closed-loop control strategy to ensure that power sent to the battery is stable. The current-limiting function ensures that the current delivered is of the desired value during output fluctuations.

The Note 30 series also has 63 protections for charging, including overload, over-temperature, fire protection, over-voltage, short circuit protection, water drop detection and several others. The battery itself is made of high-capacity material to improve energy density. As such, it can retain 80% retention of battery capacity after 1,000 charge cycles, which is double the standard requirement of 500 cycles.
