LG has introduced Dolby Vision HDR at 4K, 120Hz to its latest line of TVs. The company is committed to providing the best big-screen gaming experience possible. LG’s premium TVs are supposed to deliver enhanced gaming capabilities and convenient, user-friendly controls. Dolby Vision gaming is also being tested for a range of TV models for 2021 and 2020, in either 60Hz or 120Hz.

With firmware version 03.15.27, now rolling out on LG’s OLED TV models, the company’s C1 and G1 series TVs will be able to support Dolby Vision HDR at 4K 120Hz for some gaming platforms. In addition to the NANO99 series in NanoCell and the QNED99 series in QNED, LG’s 2021 TV lineup also includes premium models such as OLED Z1 series, QNED Mini LED QNED99 series, and NanoCell Z1 series.

The Game Dashboard is a floating onscreen menu that appears on LG TVs with Game Optimizer. It’s where users can change the setup to match their preference – Standard, FPS, RPG or RTS. Besides black stabilizer and low latency, a dashboard also displays the status of other modes like variable refresh rate (VRR). The Game Optimizer can also be launched directly from the Game Dashboard.

LG says that its OLED TVs are favored by industry experts and gamers alike as one of the best TVs for gaming due to features that make games of any genre look incredibly smooth and play fast. Users can compete on the leaderboards of their favorite next-generation console and PC challenges thanks to the responsive gameplay they’re able to deliver with little lag.
