Huawei recently unveiled a brand new UI for its AppGallery application store in the Asian Pacific region. By improving its user journey through increasing editorial content and streamlining the search-to-installation process, the revamp will also aim to offer localized content.

HUAWEI AppGallery continues to grow rapidly at a time when the new interface is being unveiled. Currently, over 530 million active world users have downloaded official Huawei apps , and over 2.3 million app developers from around the world have jumped on the platform.

“The HUAWEI AppGallery ecosystem, the world’s third largest app market, has demonstrated exponential growth since its launch earlier this year. Said Shane Shan, Director of Asia Pacific Huawei Consumer cloud service. In the revamped App Gallery layout, emphasis is placed on ease-of-use.”

An improved interface uses a bolder design approach, replacing the app thumbnails on its gallery with large image cards for easier browsing. Besides offering relevant content for users, AppGallery also recommends apps based on their location and profile. Games have their own tab, giving mobile gamers a much better search experience. Also, the feature cards provide quick access to the latest reviews of the games on offer, including “New Games We Love”, “Game of the Week”, and “Top Rated Games.”

In this latest iteration, HUAWEI AppGallery is offering exclusive promotions to its users. They just need to fill out daily clock in tasks, download apps, and purchase in-app items to win cashbacks, free items, coupons, Huawei products, and more. Huawei smartphones in select APAC region starting from 15 March 2021 will automatically be updated with the AppGallery’s latest UI, which offers users an enhanced user experience.
