One of the best things about Google Chrome is the ability to customize the look and feel of its interface. So, if you are tired of the vanilla theme that accompanies every new installation of our favorite web browser, a change is possible. Like Android, chrome has its own web store filled with widgets, themes and other stuff.

There are several themes by the Google team ranging from Dark Mode ones to more colorful eye candy. In addition to this, there several other themes that you can choose from that were made by third parties. Trust us, spend sometime browsing through the entire library before settling on a theme. Sometimes, the best ones, aren’t on the first page.

If you interesting in changing your theme, here’s what you do:

Step 1
Click on the three dots at the top right hand corner. A list of options should pop up

Step 2
Click on Settings

Step 3
Scroll down to the Appearance section. Once there, you should notice the word Themes at the top of the list. Directly to the right of it, is a rectangular box with an arrow running across, diagonally. Click on it.

Step 4
Chrome will bring you to the themes page, and display your current theme. In order to change it, Click on Themes, it’s at the top left hand corner of the page. It’s part of the navigation section.

Step 5
You should be at the themes page. There are a plethora of themes to choose from, many are free, but some are paid versions. If you see a theme that you like, click add to chrome. Within seconds, the theme should be loaded.

Hope this tip proved fruitful for you, and if it did, feel free to pass this information along to others who might also be interesting in changing their chrome theme.
