Stadia Adds New Games To It’s Pro Library
September 5, 2021August was a busy month for the Stadia team. It released six new games to the Stadia Pro library last month. Stadia is Google’s cloud-based gaming platform, where anyone with a smartphone, PC or tablet can connect to its servers to enjoy its large library of games. It negates the need for a gaming console or high-end PC hardware.
The intensive computing work is done by Stadia’s servers, leaving your machine the task of displaying what’s being run in the cloud. It isn’t a novel approach to gaming, because Microsoft and NVIDIA are seasoned veterans in this space. That said, Google’s approach offers its own advantages such as the Stadia controller and the ability to run games on a Chromecast.
