Watch Live Sports And TV Shows Instantly!

As it turns out 2020, hasn’t unfolded the way most of us expected it to go. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major disruptions to a vast majority of sectors. This includes the world of sports. That is why Google has mode some interesting additions to the way its Search function tabulates your internet searches. Right now, its only available across the U.S. but it could make its way to other regions as well. But for now, when someone searches for information on their favorite team, Google Search will also show live TV options for MLB and NBA games.

If a fan searches for “where to watch the Clippers game” on their phone, details pertaining to their search will be shown including how to tune into upcoming games on various streaming or live TV services. If you search for “Dodgers game,” Google Search will show you the live scores, top stories, standings and the new “Live on” feature.

This feature provides users with the live TV options in their area, which includes a variety of cable and network channels. But Google is also planning on expanding the coverage to include digital streaming options. Besides sports, the feature applies to TV shows and movies as well. When looking for TV shows, Search will now show a carousel of live content.

If you search for “what to watch” Google Search will show you a whole list of content that is available on streaming services and live TV shows. The “On TV now” carousel shows you programming of what’s currently being aired, while “On TV later” shows you recommendations for future programming.

Now, you can take binge watching to a whole new level. Users are no longer restricted to their individual streaming apps for movie suggestions. Today, they have the power of Google to allow them to pick and choose what to watch from a variety of services.
