Honda CR-V Black Edition Is Available In Malaysia
October 29, 2021Honda has introduced a new trim level of its ever popular mid-size SUV. Called the CR-V Black Edition, the aesthetics and colour combination live up to its namesake. The exterior is finished in Crystal Black Pearl complemented by black garnish on the front and rear bumpers. Completing the ensemble is the 18-inch alloy wheels, coloured in piano black.
This all-black theme continues inside as well. The interior features a Steering Wheel, 7-inch Interactive Thin Film Transistor (TFT) meter and air conditioning garnish finished in piano black. In addition to this, the centre console, dashboard and door trim come with black wood garnish. The headlining and seats are also finished in black and the words “Black Edition” are embroidered on the front seats.
Honda’s CR-V Black Edition is only available with the 1.5-litre TC-P 2WD engine option and is priced at RM161,913.99. Other variants of the CR-V also come with the same engine but with a choice of 2WD or 4WD as well as a normally aspirated 2.0-litre engine with 2WD. The 1.5-litre VTEC turbocharged engine (TC-P) produces about 190hp and 243Nm of of torque.
Through the use of the smart key, owners can start the engine remotely and have the air-conditioning unit turn on before stepping into the vehicle. The tailgate can be opened by moving your foot across a sensor located under the rear bumper. These are just some of several convenient features offered with the car in addition to the plethora of safety features, which are part of the SENSING suite.
