iPhone 11 Pro Steve Jobs edition, made by Caviar

If you are the sentimental type, then you are going to love this. A company called Caviar has developed a custom look for the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, reminiscent of the first gen device, Steve Jobs unveiled in 2007. Fittingly, the device features a similar two tone colour scheme of the original, adorned with an engraving of Steve Jobs’ signature.

Made out of Titantium, the phone’s enclosure features an Apple logo that has a piece of Steve Jobs’ Turtle Neck outfit. Some may consider this as a little gimmicky, but to those who idolize the eccentric genius, it is a must have device. The tempered titanium is available in two formats, regular and blackened.

Unlike Apple’s Product (RED), Caviar’s special edition iPhone retails for a whopping $6,690, and that’s the basic model with 64GB storage. If you choose the 512GB iPhone 11 Pro Max, you would need to fork out $7,860. This may seem like chump change to the rich and famous, but to you and me, it’s a hefty price tag for a smartphone.

Admittedly, this is the price you have to pay for a unique piece of Steve Jobs memorabilia. Only 99 devices will ever be produced, so, even if money is no object, there’s a chance that you won’t get one. Besides iPhone, the company also produces customized watches, Samsung Galaxy S10, Note10 and Fold devices. Check out the Caviar website for the full list.

Caviar has been a Russian owned company since 2014, but it was started by Elia Giacometti, an Italian Jeweler with the creation of the customized iPhone 4. Each device is hand made and built with expensive materials such as gold, titanium, carbon, composite stone, rare species of wood and diamonds. The products aren’t for everyone, but should appeal to those who appreciate uniquely made devices.
