Roborock has launched the Q7 Max for the Malaysian market. The new addition to the Q model lineup succeeds the S5 Max and is positioned as an effective, autonomous way of simultaneously vacuuming and mopping a home. It has a suction power of 4200 PA, which the company says is enough to pick up dirt and debris lodged in the fibers of carpets or cracks of floorboards.

The machine’s all-rubber brush agigates carpets and other surfaces to help dislodge dirt, dust and other particles, then flicks them into the vacuum stream. At the same time, it can mop fine dirt left behind after vacuuming. Users can use the 30 water flow levels to fine-tune the cleaning process to match their preference.

Its 350ml water tank, when fully filled, allows the Q7 Max to mop an area of 240 square meters. This is done while applying 300g of pressure on the surface to help remove stubborn stains and dirt left after the vacuuming process. Depending on usage, the machine’s 5,200mAh Lithium ion batteries are supposed to last for about 3 hours on a single charge.

The Q7 Max has PreciSense LiDAR to help navigate its way throughout a home and with 3D mapping, it is able to get a clear picture of the layout of an area. Users can add furniture and floor materials to said layout to offer a more accurate representation of the home. This can also be controlled via the Roborock app, which allows access to other features.

Roborock, a company that specializes in robot vacuums and other home appliances, is offering the new Q7 Max at RM1,899, which is substantially lower than its regular MSRP of RM4,399 on its official store on Shopee and Lazada.
