Roborock’s New Vacuums May Be A Good Choice For You
April 21, 2023Roborock’s S8 Series of automatic vacuum cleaners have been designed to make cleaning one’s home less cumbersome. The series consists of three models, The S8 Pro Ultra, S8+ and S8. The company’s S8 Pro Ultra is the most advanced variant of the line up partly because of the RockDock’s self-sufficiency in cleaning and maintaining itself and its robot vacuum.
Besides housing and charging the S8 Pro Ultra, it’s also tasked with cleaning, emptying the contents of the dust bag and replenishing the vacuum’s water tank when needed. Roborock says this system allows it to function for up to 7 weeks without you having to change a dust bag. That’s great news for procrastinators.
It can initiate automatic mop washing during the cleanup phase. Then warm air is channelled to the vacuum and the bottom section of the dock during the self-drying part of the process. This is done to prevent the growth of mold and unpleasant odors over time. The dual brushes clean themselves as well, negating the need for manual maintenance work.
Roborock’s S8 series has the strongest suction of the entire range at 6,000Pa. The dual rubber roller brush that’s used is better at picking up dirt than before and is also more resistant against getting tangled up in hair. This should make it effective at picking up pet hair without it comprising the overall cleaning ability.

The dual roller brush on the S8 Pro Ultra can be raised up by 6mm when in mop only mode in order not to compromise the mopping process. It is also automatically raised when the vacuum cleaner is heading back to its docking station.
Roborock’s VibraRise 2.0 Mopping system allows the mop of the vacuum to lift when cleaning carpets and can effectively scrub floors with a frequency of 3000 times per minute. On the S8 Pro Ultra, there are two modules instead of one, which provides better overall efficiency compared to the original mopping system.
