Sharing A Chrome Browser Is No Longer A Problem

If you share a PC or laptop with family members, it could prove to be a challenge to keep your bookmarks and extensions in order. You’ve spent years curating and arranging them just the way you’d like, only to have someone accidently delete them with just a click of the mouse.

You no longer have to suffer through those heartaches, because Google is revamping its Chrome profile experiences. The purpose is to make it simpler for you to create perosnal profiles, or even to customize your current one. Each user can have their very own colour scheme, background and bookmarks that they can arrange how they prefer, and save passwords.

The moment you sync your profile with your Chrome settings and content, each time you log in, Chrome automatically loads your preferences, themes and bookmarks the way you left them – undisturbed or modified. It’s similar in principle to individual PC login profiles – separate profile for each individual user.

This works for Android as well as desktop computers. The upgrade will see a more streamlined experience that is bound to make usability just that much more manageable. When time permits, you can revisit this list and pick up where you started, regardless if its on your smartphone or PC.

Having mulitple profiles on Chrome will allow family members to use the same computer without interrupting each other’s workflow or disrupting their preferences. Mind, you can access your chrome profile on any device, all you need to do is turn on sync and you will be connected to your profile.
