IBM has teamed up with I.AM+ to deliver A.I. services with the use of its cloud services. The collaboration will allow the latter’s technology to reach and benefit a larger demographic. And, in case you didn’t know, I.AM+ is a tech company founded by music artist will.i.am.

Its Omega AI platform provides businesses with the tools to develop human-like conversational experiences. I.AM+ has created domain-specific applications using machine learning technologies built in-house, that combines voice and U.I. to produce more interactive software experiences.

Omega will be deployed using Red Hat OpenShift, an enterprise Kubernetes platform, which runs on IBM’s public cloud. This will allow I.AM+ to operate with better efficiency and take advantage of the enterprise-level data security that IBM’s services offer.

Speaking of this newly minted partnership, will.i.am said, “Delivering AI solutions to industries like retail and entertainment, where personal data is everywhere, it was a top priority to find a cloud provider with deep roots in security, trust and transparency; we got that with IBM public cloud.”

Red Hat OpenShift will help will.i.am’s platform to quickly and securely connect data, workloads and operate across multiple public cloud, private cloud and on-premises infrastructures. This will then allow the company to easily manage, maintain and scale its AI accordingly.
