A powerful new version of the Galaxy Book series is about to arrive. These tablets, smartphones and wearables work seamlessly with other Galaxy devices. Microsoft announced its new Windows 11 OS on October 5, an OS which includes such upgraded features as split-screen and multi-window UI options, Android App support for PC, a sleeker interface and more, which perfectly complements the Galaxy Book series with its emphasis on mobile-forward computing.

Mobilizing and optimizing ecosystem experiences
Similar to the mobile-forward experiences Microsoft is set to bring to users with Windows 11, Samsung’s Galaxy Book is designed to keep up with changing lifestyle trends and market needs so you’ll enjoy maximum mobility and seamless compatibility with other Galaxy devices at work and at home.

You can use Link to Windows to connect your Galaxy smartphone to your Galaxy Book series device to maximize productivity by taking advantage of the larger display and enjoying your favorite mobile apps without leaving the PC environment. The update lets you manage sound controls, check the status of your phone’s connectivity and even enable Do Not Disturb mode for your Galaxy Book series, all with the familiar UI of your Galaxy smartphones and tablet for continued seamless control on your PC. The link to Windows app also offers Dark Mode, which makes viewing enjoyable no matter what time of day.

A new Live Wallpaper has also been released with Windows 11, along with a new update to the Galaxy Book series2. The new Live Wallpaper shows the same look and feel as your Galaxy phones and tablets, and also shows the same Dynamic Wallpapers that you see on your Galaxy lock screen. Dynamic Wallpaper, a feature exclusive to this application, offers high-quality background images in 10 different categories. Now that your Galaxy mobiles, tablets, and PCs all have the same Live Wallpaper, you can enjoy it on all of them.

As a further step towards providing the most mobility with your device, Samsung has introduced Bixby for Galaxy Book3 users to enable you to interact with your computer intuitively. SmartThings-registered devices can be controlled using voice commands to run apps, open Settings, and search for files. By saying “Hi Bixby” or pressing CTRL, Shift, and B or FN and B simultaneously, you can launch the Bixby on Windows feature, and you can find Bixby easily in the Microsoft store or found by searching within the taskbar on Windows.

The Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G will be Samsung’s first machine to ship with Windows 11. Galaxy Book series4 devices are also compatible with Windows 11, and users are eligible for a free upgrade. On the official Microsoft website, you can find detailed information about the upgrade process.
