LG XBOOM 360 RP4 Portable Speaker Is Meant For Partygoers
February 27, 2023LG’s new portable speaker, the XBOOM360 RP4 features a unique conical-cylindrical design that is quite appealing. It’s purposefully built this way to accommodate the distortion-free reflector structure. Said structure of the twitter and wooder are designed to produce 360-degreee sound with minimal distortion.
LG says that the speaker is constructed this way to provide a well-balanced soundstage. The titanium diaphragm creates a linear frequency for more accurate reception across the high frequency range. Then, the glass fiber woofer helps generate dynamic bass with a clear, natural mid-range response.
This combination allows the RP4’s 120W output to create sound that can fill a room with rich, clear sounding music. The beige fabric that covers most of its body is made from a durable material and the built-in metal handle makes it convenient to carry in hand. The speaker has been fabricated partially from recycled plastics and other post-consumer materials.
LG has built-in a 360-degree mood lighting system as well. There are three different presets to choose from: Ambient, Nature and Party. But you can also choose from a range of customizable lighting options and sound effects through the use of the LG XBOOM companion app.
In said app, you’ll also find the DJ Effect. This feature allows the mixing of multiple samples, scratching and other sound effects that mimic the work of an actual DJ. Though it might not be to the liking of everyone, said effect will certainly liven a gathering. LG’s RP4 should offer close to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge, which should be just enough for an outdoor party.
