Expect Exciting New Chrome Features Soon

Everyone’s favorite internet browser, Google Chrome has and will be receiving a number of updates to improve functionality and allows it to work 10% faster than before.

However, this pales in comparison to several new features that should put Chrome in a different league compared to other contemporary browsers. Here’s what you can expect with the updated browser:

Group Tabs Or Collapse Them
Tab groups allow users to distinguish tabs by topic. It will allows you to collapse and expand tab groups to make it easier to accesses individual tabs and information.

Touch Friendly Tabs For Tablets
A new touchscreen interface, which will be first seen on Chromebooks, will allow tabs to be displayed in a much larger and practical way. This will help users organize or hide tabs into thumbnails, that they are using or those that will be required later.

Switch To Open Tab
New for Android but already available on PCs, users can start typing a page title into the address bar, and if such a page is already open, a suggestion will pop up, indicating that fact.

Find The Tab You Want
Coming to Chrome Beta, this feature will allow you hover your cursor over a tab, which will then provide a thumbnail image of its contents. It’s pretty useful for those who have multiple tabs open with similar headers.

Fill Out PDFs On Chrome
A godsend to many, Google Chrome will allow users to edit and save pdf forms directly from the browser. If the file is open again, users can pick up where they left off. Expect this to arrive on your browser within the next few weeks.

Improved URL sharing
For Android users, it’s now easier than ever to share and send links through other apps. You can copy a link and send to Chrome on your other devices. The new QR code feature can be accessed through the QR icon on the Chrome address bar.
